Saddleworth Museum and Art Gallery are hosting Takeaway Tuesday, make do and mend family crafts, Tuesday 30 October 2018, 1pm to 4pm, High Street, Uppermill, Oldham, OL3 6HS.
Join the museum's rememberance of 100 years since the end of WW1. Have a ago at some Make Do and Mend crafts inspired bu their wartime displays and contribute to their WW1 rememeberance tree.
- Find out how people recycled in the war
- Use rag-rugging to make colourful mats from fabric scraps
- Sew poppies to take home and add to their rememberance tree
