We are thrilled to congratulate Hack Oldham as they achieve our Quality in Action Award, excelling in every category and demonstrating their commitment to safeguarding, quality assurance and continued improvement.
Hack Oldham is a non-profit organisation run by and for their members and the wider community and staffed by volunteers. They offer a meeting space for event organisers, co-workers, social groups. They also have a wide range of crafting facilities for groups, individuals and other organisations.
"That is wonderful news. Thank you very much for all your kind support. Achieving the Quality in Action Award is a tremendous boost for our organisation. We hope it will help us to show funders and other partners that we are a quality organisation and that they will see this as a stamp of approval.
The process was very in-depth, but has made us look at all our policies and procedures in a systematic way, ensuring we improve upon them and strengthening our organisation and the way it safeguards others. We are now confident that we can face the future with a solid grounding. I would encourage any other organisation to go for this award a it has really helped us focus on improving the way we work. And a big thank you to the representatives from Action Together who guided us through this process. They were very patient and supportive and really explained everything clearly to us. "
