GMCVO along with the VCSE Devolution Reference Group are holding this VCSE Assembly event which will be facilitated by Paul Donovan, Senior Advisor: Person and Community Centred Approaches at GM Health and Social Care Partnership. It is aimed at those in the VCSE community who would like to understand more about Personal Health Budgets and also provides an opportunity to understand the framework of support that is required for budget holders – from support planning (as part of a brokerage service) to acting as a third party where a charity or organisation can oversee someone’s support. There are also opportunities to develop the types of support that budget holders could potentially purchase (within the eligibility criteria of the funding authority) and to explore with VCSE organisations what could be done to include interested parties in this area of development going forward. For more information, and to book your place click here.

This event is being delivered as part of the Health and Social Care VCSE Engagement Project that GMCVO deliver on behalf of the GM VCSE Devolution Reference Group. If you would like to find out more about the project please look at our updated project website page here and to receive information about project news and future events sign up to receive the fortnightly project e-bulletin here.
