Global Grooves, based in Tameside, is offering future leaders: arts apprenticeships in music, dance, and visual arts (deadline to apply is 30 Sept 2018) residential programme running between October 2018 and April 2019, in which accommodation, travel costs, course costs, and food are covered by our project funding.

Global Grooves is about to launch the third year of this fantastic programme and is looking to offer the opportunity to a new cohort of 40 young artists, aged between 12 and 25, whose passions lie in the arts (music, dance, or visual arts).

These bright young talents will work alongside a team our international artists and industry specialists to gain hands-on experience and realise their potential as arts leaders and skilled artists with additional insight into the behind-the-scenes running of participatory work. They will have access to personalised mentoring and self-reflection tasks, all to encourage happy, healthy citizens who are able to access exciting choices and career paths in future (as well as add inspiring experiences to the CVs for college, and future employment opportunities for those entering the world of work).

Further information about the course and how organisations can help Global Grooves to find these future arts leaders can be found at www.futureleaders.org.uk

Global Gooves is committed to providing opportunities for both individuals and organisations, you're invited to get in touch for any further information or to share your ideas. There are also funded opportunities for work shadowing for a handful music leaders around the UK – get in touch without delay.
