Weekly creative workshops for neurodiverse young people aged 13-25 focussing on wellbeing, delivered in central Oldham. Neurodiversity describes conditions that impact the way we think and experience the world. This includes autism, ADHD, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, dyslexia, and Tourettes, but also mental health and developmental trauma/adverse childhood experiences. The programme is run by professionals with lived experience of neurodiversity. The workshops include a range of artforms such as visual arts (sculpture, drawing, painting etc.), media (film-making, journalism, photography) and performing arts (drama, music, spoken-word, creative writing etc.). We wish to celebrate and include neurodiverse young people by providing a safe space to be creative, meet new friends and have fun.
