The Crinkly Crew
We are looking for older people (crinkly or otherwise) to join us in making up and then performing our new show - ‘The Crinkly Crew’ - a story about a group of extraordinary older characters that use their unique experiences (bees, ironing, stunts, mystery and an intimate knowledge of the highway code) to help a teenager navigate their way out of a crisis. Sessions are filled with carrier bags of fun, making music and drama from scratch and discussing the things in life that really matter.

About the host organisation
Hosted by: Made by Mortals CICOrganisation Profile:Made by Mortals is a not-for-profit social enterprise that delivers multimedia performance projects through creative collaborations with professional and participatory artist from a range of social and cultural backgrounds. We aim to challenge preconceptions of what is possible from a performance that has participated at its heart. Our projects are fundamentally about using creativity to bring about positive change - on a personal, social, artistic and community basis. We have three strands of work:
1. Hearts and Minds - workshops with over 55's to create music and drama performances aimed at intergenerational audiences, as well as to promote using creativity as a vehicle to improve health and wellbeing.
2. This Way Up - workshops with professional artists and adults with mental health issues and/or learning difficulties to create multimedia performances that inspire social action and positive community change.
3. Reshuffle - provide pathways into creative industries for young people in challenging circumstances
