About Brentwood Middleton Day Centre

Brentwood Middleton Day Centre was established in 1989 after a Labour working party and the council found that there were a thousand voids on Langley Middleton and so set up a building in Middleton to handle the fallout from people living in there and their Homeless/Housing needs - it has since developed into a well run Homeless day centre that deals with the homeless and with prevention of homelessness and as such works with those in immediate need whether they are homeless or not - we provide immediate need, Hot Food Breakfast and dinner and hot and cold drinks, it provides laundry facilities including washer and dryer and washing powder and comforter and an iron and board, it also provides Bathing facilities, shower or bath and all the toiletries and towels are provided, we also do haircuts and people have shaves here, all is free of charge - we are open Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm, the service involves all the community, those donating, those in accommodation but living on the edge and need help, those homeless, sofa surfing or sleeping rough or on the verge of eviction and we deal with any housing, welfare rights issues
