• Droylsden Lively Minds Club

Monthly community meeting where we have speakers and activities and offer an opportunity for people to meet up, meet new friends and have a chat over a cup of tea and a biscuit. Our group is aimed at the over 55’s predominately, but we are an open group for anyone to attend. We meet on the 1st Wednesday of every month. We have a range of speakers and activities booked and we also arrange trips out to the theatre, local garden centres etc. We have refreshments available for a small donation to the club funds.

    Organisation Profile:

We meet on the 1st Wednesday morning of every month at Droylsden Library. We organise various speakers and activities on a wide range of topics. There are also refreshments available at the meeting and a chance for everyone to have a chat before and after the speaker/activity. We also have visits out, eg. to the theatre and the local garden centre for lunch. We have also had an outing to a concert at the Bridgewater Hall. The Club is for everyone in the community over the age of 55 but we are also willing and eager to accept all newcomers of all ages.
