Henshaws work with people of all ages, both children and adults, living with sight loss and a range of other disabilities living in Greater Manchester. We aim to empower people with sight loss to take steps to change their lives for the better, with independence and friendship being at the heart of everything we do. Our Tameside Enablement Officer, Kathryn, will support you in working out what your needs and priorities are, to live a more independent and fulfilled life. We can introduce you to other people living with sight loss in your area, help you work out what technology may make life that little easier for you, provide you with professional emotional support through our counselling service or simply assist you in ensuring you are claiming the correct benefits you may be eligible for. If you would like to find out more about how Henshaws services can help you, please give Kathryn a call on 0300 222 5555 or visit our website www.henshaws.org.uk.
The next Tameside over the phone Living Well With Sight Loss – starts Thursday 15 April at 2pm.
