Do you want to raise some funds for your community organisation, faith group, or charity? Do you have volunteers who would be able to help people fill in a simple form so that they are eligible to vote?

Tameside Democratic Services are looking for community organisations, faith groups and charities who can provide volunteers.

What do you have to do:

  • Provide volunteers, who are able to interact with those who have not yet completed a household enquiry form (HEF form), get it completed and return to Tameside Democratic Services.

  • Where volunteers struggle to make contact, leave a household enquiry form (HEF form). *
  • Provide records of houses visited and outcomes of visit.

What you will get:

  • All volunteers will receive a one hour training session
  • Your organisation will be given addresses to target those who have not yet completed a household enquiry form (HEF form).
