Youth group support worker

To work within our youth group held on a Thursday afternoon 3.30-5.00. Supporting the young people, getting involved with the activities we do within the group.

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

Emotional support for the young people, getting involved with the activities, helping with the general organising of the group sessions, and helping tidy up the room at the end of the group.

Training:

We hold a two day training course for mentoring young people which the volunteer is welcome to attend.

Requirements: Willing to travel by public transport or find own way to volunteering location
Skill and Qualifications Required:

Good listening skills, reliable and able to work in a person-centered way.
