Treasurer (Trustee) - Time of Our Life Club

The treasurer will be responsible for managing the finances of the group. Banking the money on a weekly basis. Booking and paying for entertainment for the club. They will also keep a track of the weekly account sheet with money coming in to the club via the attendees. The treasurer will attend trustee meetings and update the committee on financial matters. The treasurer will research and apply for funding for the group. They will also look for opportunities to fundraise for them too. This role would suit someone with a financial background with experience of managing finances. The club runs every Friday 10am - 12pm.

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

Generally the treasurer helps trustees carry out their financial responsibilities.
* presenting financial reports to the board in a format that helps the board understand the charity’s financial position
* advising the board on how to carry out its financial responsibilities
* working with professional advisors
* overseeing the preparation and scrutiny of annual accounts
* taking on some or all day to day financial duties, such as book-keeping, budgeting and preparation of reports.
