My Recovery Tameside is a free and confidential drug and alcohol service for adults and young people in the Tameside area. We provide a variety of services designed to support those with substance misuse issues. Our service provides key work appointments, structured and life skills groups, counselling, needle exchange and clinical services.

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

We currently have a rewarding opportunity to join the Engagement Team as a Triage Volunteer to assist our teams in the delivery of high-quality triages, assessments and responsive recovery focused interventions. We engage clients with drug and alcohol issues to promote and facilitate positive recovery outcomes.

Skill and Qualifications Required:

Volunteers will have a range of skills and experience that complement the work we do. We also provides an opportunity for individuals to use existing skills to support our services, develop new skills and gain experience in the health and social care sector, specifically in the substance misuse, treatment field.
