As people who work and volunteer in Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprises (VCFSE) in Oldham, we are a vital part of the local workforce that is supporting people and communities to thrive, take control of their lives and improve their health and wellbeing.

Oldham Cares is inviting VCFSE operational staff and managers to join a new strengths-based development programme alongside over 4000 members of the wider workforce, from youth workers to GPs to commissioners.

As our VCFSE sector and our communities have always known, good conversations focus on ‘what is strong’ rather than ‘what is wrong’. Oldham wants to shift the culture of the whole borough away from traditional ways of fixing people and towards this strengths-based and more empowering approach.

Details:

Cost: free
Length: 1 day
