Can you help share the Coronavirus messages?

Oldham Council values your local knowledge and networks and your ability to talk to local people in ways that are familiar and right for them.

As a local trusted voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector group or organisation, you understand your local communities’ concerns and worries about coronavirus. You are able to discuss with your members, your local community, friends and neighbours about the disease and explain to them why it is important to follow the guidance, get tested and self-isolate if they get a positive test result.

With the increasing numbers of coronavirus in Oldham and the regularly changing guidance in place, we need you to help us reach people accross all our Oldham communities and encourage them to follow the guidance, have a test and isolate to keep everyone safe.

Oldham Council have put together a resources library that you can browse, and download useful posters, flyers and social media posts to share with your members on your social media and in your building as and when you can open them.  There are lots of resources in different languages and that are accessible.

At Action Together we’ve been working with the Sector and with Oldham Council to develop the ways in which you can support and have secured some grant investment to enable your group or organisation to get involved in ‘Community Conversations’ and / or ‘Local Testing Support’.  The time is now! We’ve got a window to make a difference. For more information and to get involved:
