GM Mental Wellbeing Grants - Stage 2

funding update

Aims/Priorities: GMCVO, working in partnership with 10GM, have launched the second stage of a grants programme to support adults from communities of identity or experience, based in Greater Manchester, that may struggle to achieve high levels of mental wellbeing.

The communities identified are:

•    People from black, asian and minority ethnic (BAME) communities
•    People living with long term physical and mental health conditions
•    Disabled people
•    Social isolated older people
•    Military veterans
•    People who are newly or long term unemployed
•    People who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, questioning/queer and/or intersex (LGBTQI)
•    Adult carers

Organisations will be awarded for activities that support the mental wellbeing of the above communities while working within the current government social distancing restrictions.

Who can apply? The grants will be awarded, in stages, to small, grass roots voluntary and community groups and social enterprises that will support people to develop higher levels of mental wellbeing. For this second stage they have made an adjustment to our eligibility which now allows organisations with an income of up to £50,000, in its most recent full financial year, to apply.
