    Adults with learning disabilities and/autism living in Oldham are eligible to access our independent advocacy service free of charge. Advocates help people to speak up and have their voice heard about matters which are important to them. This may be about money problems, health, housing, care and support packages or anything else which is making you anxious.     OPAL is a registered charity providing independent advocacy services and activities for people with learning disabilities (aged 18+) living in Oldham.

    Our mission is:
    ‘to allow people with learning disabilities the right to be heard loudly and clearly by those who plan and deliver services which impact on their quality of life and to claim the rights and privileges available to all members of society’
    Our independent advocacy service is free.
    Our women’s group Women, Get Set GO! meets on Tuesday afternoon 1.45-3.45 pm- free. Your day Your Way is a small day service which you can fund from your Independent Budget. It costs £28 for half a day and includes lunch and refreshments and all activities and £56 for a full day.
