    OPAL CREW is an exciting new alternative service, a place where we will support adults with learning disabilities towards becoming more independent through a variety of fun activities. At OPAL CREW you will: LEARN important life skills and take courses, GROW confidence. Create artwork, make short films, podcasts and other fun projects. BELONG to a community of people who feel supported, encouraged and mentored. Volunteer in Oldham and aim towards being work ready. Nov 21

    OPAL is a registered charity providing independent advocacy services and activities for people with learning disabilities (aged 18+) living in Oldham.

    Our mission is:
    ‘to allow people with learning disabilities the right to be heard loudly and clearly by those who plan and deliver services which impact on their quality of life and to claim the rights and privileges available to all members of society’
    Our independent advocacy service is free.
    Our women’s group Women, Get Set GO! meets on Tuesday afternoon 1.45-3.45 pm- free. Your day Your Way is a small day service which you can fund from your Independent Budget. It costs £28 for half a day and includes lunch and refreshments and all activities and £56 for a full day.
