#WednesdaysWeekly - Healthwatch Rochdale

The Healthwatch Rochdale session will outline the roles and requirements of a local Healthwatch and discuss why people should share their experiences of health and care services with Healthwatch. The session will outline the statutory powers and functions of a Healthwatch and how these powers can be used to ensure that local and national services are shaped by the patient’s lived experience. The session will cover the following areas:

• The role, statutory powers and functions of Healthwatch Rochdale
• The Healthwatch Rochdale team. How staff members and volunteers work together to carry out the work of Healthwatch
• How individuals and organisations can get involved and help shape health and care services locally
